Is The Parody Wiki going to eventually shut down? People are saying that movie-spoofs and all that sort of stuff are apparently no longer allowed here on The Parody Wiki.

To be frank I am fine with this wiki shutting down. Its "parodies" and other pages are downright mediocre:

Don't be sad. This wiki is garbage. Its "parodies" are garbage, its filled with poorly written pages and poorly edited posters there are pages about extinct and living animals (this is supposed to the parody wiki not the biology wiki) and the users don't know what even is a parody. This video explains my point:

I am actually reconsidering the plan I originally posted because there's so many pages on the parody wiki. So what might happen is that we merge my recast wiki, scratchpad, and others into the parody wiki. On this wiki, parody/spoof will also be used to refer to recasts, because that's how it's always been.

You completely missed the point of the video. The video was made to expose The Parody wiki and show why its "parodies" are garbage and that its users don't know what parodies even are Not to mention there are a lot of pages with info about extinct and living animals. I thought this was The Parody wiki not the biology wiki.

Hi, Parody Wiki. Me again. We've been pretty back and forth with what's gonna happen to the Parody Wiki, but I think we've finally settled on a decision.

My reaction Barneymiller123abc deleting character pages in The Parody Wiki. Oh no! this is so bad, Barneymiller123abc was the one who is deleting character pages, because of that "(Not Parodies)"

but the Parody Wiki was created with this incorrect word use in mind No matter what we do, there is just no way to properly make people separate "spoof" from "recast." So welcome to the "Parody" Wiki.

If trying to convince people on the wiki that it was only for actual parodies didn't work then trying to move them somewhere else won't work either. The Parody Wiki will always be connected to recasts.

Aside from the fact that recasts/roleswaps do not qualify as parodies, about the "shutting down part", the wiki would is likely to still thrive since the number of actual parodies being created is slowly increasing.
