The film often rips off many elements from other better animated films such as An American Tail: Fievel Goes West and Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron. Forgettable and irritating musical songs, such as the titular theme song and Slim's villain song "Yodel-Adle-Eedle-Idle-Oo".
