"Cookie Cutters" are the name I've decided to give to those "memes" that are like "Character X tells Character Y to shut up," "Character X tells Character Y to stop, ," so on and so forth. They're also sometimes called reaction memes, but I prefer to use the term cookie cutters.

Is The Parody Wiki going to eventually shut down? People are saying that movie-spoofs and all that sort of stuff are apparently no longer allowed here on The Parody Wiki.

You completely missed the point of the video. The video was made to expose The Parody wiki and show why its "parodies" are garbage and that its users don't know what parodies even are Not to mention there are a lot of pages with info about extinct and living animals. I thought this was The Parody wiki not the biology wiki.

I have been trying to encourage the creation of pages that pertain to actual parodies (have already done a couple myself) but as I said before, this wiki is primarily associated with recasts. (Spoofs of recasts are very much encouraged!)

I am actually reconsidering the plan I originally posted because there's so many pages on the parody wiki. So what might happen is that we merge my recast wiki, scratchpad, and others into the parody wiki. On this wiki, parody/spoof will also be used to refer to recasts, because that's how it's always been.

Don't be sad. This wiki is garbage. Its "parodies" are garbage, its filled with poorly written pages and poorly edited posters there are pages about extinct and living animals (this is supposed to the parody wiki not the biology wiki) and the users don't know what even is a parody. Which is why I suggested the wiki to be moved somewhere else like Discord or Mastodon. Because wikis are not meant for this kind of stuff. And as you pointed out, despite the admins efforts, this awful "parodies" keep being made.

Hello Denosoar, unfortunately because the definition of parody on this wiki is too inseparable from Recast and Roleswap they are here to stay on the wiki. The mod team tried, but people redoubled their efforts to keep them up.

ID or documentation of any sort cannot be accepted. These do not prove that you are the account holder, only, hopefully, who you are. As well as that, Google cannot authenticate these, as they were not asked for when the account was set up.

But people just kept making recasts on the Parody Wiki and most of them didn't seem to understand why they weren't spoofs. Recast and spoof have been (inaccurately) synonymous for many, many years, and the Parody Wiki has been the place for them for just as long.

I'm sick of these announcements. All your announcements include promoting other wikis, but I don't understand why I'm getting announcements when I'm not an active contributor I also don't believe that this wiki should be migrated due to all of the pages and users, that would be bad. I suggest not migrating it.
